The Caribbean Sea Commission (CSC) of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) are pleased to invite public and private tourism stakeholders, scientists, policy makers, practitioners, community leaders, students, and members of the general public with an interest in Integrated Management of Coastal Zones, beach recovery and remediation, to participate in the First Conference on Identification, Protection, Restoration and Management of the Greater Caribbean Beaches, 2023 (IPReM Greater Caribbean 2023).
The conference also offers regional scientists the chance to present their research and recommendations on sustainable beach management.
Submissions for conference presentations will be accepted in the following topic areas:
- Coastal processes and erosion
- Extreme events and climate change impacts
- Engineering and nature-based solutions for restoration
- Integrated coastal zone management and adaptation.
Please note that if selected to present, funding is available to cover travel and accommodation costs.
